MOMMY MADNESS

Have I become "that" MoM?
Please tell me it's just a mild case of MoMMY MaDNeSS...
Last week I noticed a white spot in Lily's mouth, it almost looked like a canker sore so I decided I would keep an eye on it.
After one week of a very fussy Lily, I decided this needed to be looked into more. So with that, I loaded Lily into the carseat and headed to Kaiser for our appointment with our Pediatrician.
After a good look in her mouth, and a second opinion with another Dr...
The verdict??
LILY'S 1ST TOOTH
Her upper Lateral incisor is cutting through.
The doctor said it's pretty rare and he would say only about 5% of babies cut that one for their first tooth...but leave it to Lily to be in that 5% :)
I left the appointment relieved, but embarrassed! I feel like I should have somehow known! Did I REALLY need to pay $30 for that?
Please tell me I'm not the only one who has taken their baby to the doctor over something so silly...
I'd LOVE to hear your story

Lindsey, you just described my life!! I have been such a nervous wreck ever since Jack was born! The other day his tummy was growling funny and it freaked me out haha

We didn't have that issue because 1)Cory's and dentist, and 2)Brady's bottom two teeth came in together so it was pretty obvious. BUT, teething is tricky. Multiple times Brady had teeth coming in and I couldn't figure out what his problem was. Each time, oh duh, he's teething! It's easy to forget about that, and definitely understandable since it's her first tooth in a less common spot.

Oh my! My husband took our 4month old baby boy into the doctor for a diaper rash...oh yeah...A DIAPER RASH! So I was at work...and he called me freaking out that "his special place" was bleeding(making it sound like a lot of blood), but no...he got him all loaded in the car seat and in the car and off to the dr where i met them and stripped him down to find...NOTHING, but a little red bottom...i was like "Really, Jeff?" $20.00 for a diaper rash outcome, which i was relieved of course! :) So the dr. made us feel good and actually wrote a presciption for a diaper rash ointment so we didnt feel too dumb! better safe than sorry right?
