Nicole and I met 13 years ago (in 7th grade)! She was baptized 10 years ago. I've had the great blessing to watch the gospel change her life over the years. I was honored when she asked me and my mom to escort her through the temple for her 1st time. It was SO special.
My mom and Nicole stayed through the weekend. We took Nicole, who is currently living in Wyoming (with NO SHOPPING CENTERS in site) to the Galleria mall. 6 hours later, Nicole had a new wardrobe. It was so fun to come home, lay out outfits and accessories and play with her hair.
We also took a day trip to San Francisco. It was so much fun! We went walked the Golden Gate Bridge, at lunch at Boudin and walked the shops.
For dinner, we went to a nice and warm resteraunt and had an AWESOME view of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz.
It had been 6 years since Nicole had visited and we picked up right where we left off. I'm so thankful to Jared and Nana for helping out with the kids while I got a little getaway and Girl time in.
Nicole--let's not let it be another 6 years?!
