Yesterday was my 38 weeks check up. Lily has "dropped" and is head down. I have been measuring small the past few weeks and after only measuring 36 cm at 38 weeks my Doctor decided to take some extra precautions to make sure everything is okay. I spent all afternoon at Kaiser getting my fluids checked and having an ultrasound to measure Lily's growth.
The results....
The Doc said that my fluids aren't low but I need to increase my intake to be safe. She said that Lily's growth is normal and she expects me to have a 7lb - 7.5lb HEALTHY baby.
What a relief!
Since Jared has a crazy schedule now it was my first Dr. appointment alone and I was trying to not over-react.
It was fun to have the ultrasound..the tech showed me her spine, stomach, heart and the hair folicals on her head! We couldn't get a good look at her face though...she had both hands up covering. I guess we will have to wait another week or so to REALLY see her!

im so excited for you and jared :0) lily is the cutest name ever ♥ so is jared in the academy now? how is he doing?? Matt will be done in a couple of months and were in the process of looking for jobs..SO stressful!! Do youguys live in folsom? we'll be driving through there tomorrow to check out Placerville..we could be neighbors ;0) Anywho i hope everything goes well with the bebe!!
