We rented a cabin, packed out weekend bags and headed to Lake Tahoe with the Metcalf bunch. It was so much fun!
We walked some old shops in Trukee and ate dinner at a hole-in-the-wall Mexican resteraunt that was delicious. Then we fell in love with this ice cream parlor that was straight from the 50's.

We spend the day at Kings Beach.
We rented a kayak,
and everyone got a ride :)
Our little water bug,
and our happy boy.
We also rented paddleboards,
and fell in love with them again.
It's SO much fun!
Maddy & Lily hung out on this rock most of the day, singing songs and playing Little Mermaid. It was the perfect Ariel rock.
Love this happy boy!
The kids were fast asleep within minutes of leaving the lake...Playing is tough work!
We ate at JAX on the tracks
Our busy Boy found the actual tracks more interesting than the resteraunt itself.
Not pictured, but must mention: Nana's chocolate chip cookies, Claire and I stayed up putting together a HUGE puzzle, Foster Freeze's and lot's of laughs!
